I was very worried when I bought this as I have had many problems with non-genuine power adapters/chargers in the past but after reading the reviews I decided to take a chance and give it a try. Works right out of the box. Have owned it for about 2 months, no battery life issues or charging issues. A few notes: 1) It's larger than the one that came with my Acer Chromebook. If you're traveling and space is extremely important then either reconsider what you're taking or go with the OEM, but the difference in size is negligible in my opinion. 2) The blue light on the charger is bright, but I have more trouble with the blue light on the edge of my Chromebook than this light. My charger is plugged in under my desk and when I walk into my dark office you can see the light hitting the wall. It's not a problem for me, but if it bothers you, you can cover it with a piece of tape.
