Let me start by saying that I am not a climber. But I enjoy nature and wildlife. And I like to have tactical items in my security bag that can come in handy in certain situations. That's why I bought the GM CLIMBING Flat nylon strap. I love that it's rated for 1200 pounds of breaking strength. Of course, tying it in a knot halves that strength. You absolutely must know this. Regardless, the GM climbing harness can still be useful for tactical goods, backpack straps, loops, slings, and more. I have not used this webbing in the field. Why? Because I have this for my security kit to use when needed. It's the kind of item you hope you won't use but are grateful to have just in case. The web quality is excellent. So I feel good to have this strap as a safety kit. By the way, I included my baseball cap in the photo for size reference.
