The doll alone was affordable, but getting it in a box was too expensive. But my mischievous little 4-year-old granddaughter is always planning ahead what to do next. Pickles, as she called her Christmas elf, is always watching her and is ready to pass on her mischievous and kind deeds to Santa Claus, who is on his list of good boys and girls. Okay ok I know all the fuss and talk about how to fool a kid blah blah blah. BUT. If there's anything that helps kids stop and think before they act, what's wrong with that? That is a good thing. Less fuss, less rowing, and that gives them a reason to learn to be kind and considerate. Not only that, but the child will feel special because they have their very own Christmas elf. In fact, she greets the morning with a cheerful mood, every morning she looks for Pickles to see where he has settled this time after returning from the North Pole.
