Review on Waterproof Queen Mattress Protector: Heavy-Duty Encasement Cover in Superior Extra Heavy 8 Gauge Vinyl by Marcus Merritt

Put this on my son's double bed. It's larger than a mattress (and I ordered a queen) but that doesn't seem to be a problem and I feel like it's easier to tuck your mattress in. So far, my 84-pound son's bouncing hasn't ripped the cover, but I pulled on a clean sheet and a random movement of my hand easily poke a tiny hole in the tip of my nail. I didn't see the hole rupture any further as I haven't changed the blade on it since. All vinyl top so it's easy to wash! EDIT: Sometime in May/June I noticed that the top cover was slightly frayed after I took the sheets off my son. Second, when I tried to move the shredded pieces around a bit to cover them where they should be, they tore easily like nothing. It seems weaker than wet paper. Changed stars from 4 to 2. Still getting 2 because at least it didn't last long. :(
