I buy a new pair of Yucatans every year; These are fantastic sandals for those who live outdoors. I liked these colors so I decided to give it a try. All my other Yucatans are size 40 which I also ordered in it. When you order Yucatans, you know that they are M (medium) wide and can stretch a little. I'm medium in all my boots and at the end of summer my normal Yucatan everyday clothes can be a bit sloppy. When these off-road touring Yucatans arrived I felt a lot more toned, I wasn't overly concerned at first. But after a month of trying to wear them just in case and feeling like the ball of my foot went numb no matter what I did with the straps, I sent them back. (Thanks Revain!) I'd say these off-road hiking sandals fit N (narrow) not M (medium) — and I wouldn't recommend buying them if you're a hard M. Then again, if you're an N, it might be the Yucatan you've been waiting for.
