The flat design of this cord allowed me to thread it through the side window, close the window, and most importantly, lock it. I love the flat design. The cable fits snugly around the camera. I don't worry about it falling out or water getting in. Bonus for us skillful people. The cord runs between these short nails in your nail gun. So if you need to attach the cable somewhere outside, it will make it faster.
