Active Cooling (ICE) IPL hair removal device with two focusing heads

It's amazing how quickly IPL (Intense Light Pulse) hair removal devices have spread. After a few big brands showed the market existed, a plethora of alternatives flooded in. The good news is that you get the same features for less money. I have tried a large number of these IPL devices so far and I can say that all of these IPL devices work the same way with slight differences between them. When you're looking for a hair remover, the key differences are mostly ergonomics (device shape and button placement) and whether or not it includes an "ICE" feature to actively cool the area you're shining on. This is a mid-range device that adds ICE cooling and two additional flash focusing heads to the basic hair removal device. Features of this IPL device:** Performs hair removal only. Number of flashes fired and power level (1-5)** Preferably a handy "gun unit"** Includes two optional focusing lenses that attach with magnets and can be used to focus light on small areas (armpits, bikini line) and lips focus )** The maximum number of flashes is 999 999. The operation is very simple: 1) Connect the power cable to the IPL device (the device is NOT battery powered - it must be connected to the mains). 2) Turn on the device using the power switch, which is a small button on the back of the device. 3) Select the power level to use (you have five levels and can toggle between them with a short press of the power button). The level is displayed on the LCD screen. 4) Place the front of the device on the skin you want to treat and press the flash button (located on the gun-shaped trigger of the IPL device). (You can also put the device into "automatic" mode, in which it will flash every time it is pressed against the skin. To put it into automatic mode, press and hold the trigger button for a few seconds.) After a burst, there is a 1 second refractory period before you can flame again. 5) Ice technology, which actively cools the metal area that comes into contact with your skin, turns on automatically. The light is extremely strong and can damage your eyes if continuously exposed directly. Therefore you should never look directly into the light and cheap folding glasses are included in the scope of delivery. The light is turned on by sensors on the front of the device. With very slow movement I was able to capture the light (see photos). But the duration of the light is very short. Run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair, making sure to uncover all the hair follicles in that area. You won't see instant results. The light signals that your hair has stopped growing, but it takes multiple treatments over several weeks before you see results. Eventually, you should see significant hair reduction in the treated areas. In the box you get a tool, power cord, two focusing lenses, eye protection goggles, a cheap disposable razor and instructions. to the "Icy" function, because there is almost no detail in this list (like other IPL devices): Ice function is another term for "local epidermal cooling". "Ice function" or "Ice cooling". This is a local cooling of the epidermis (surface of the skin) in the area where the IPL light pulse is applied. Bright light can cause irritation in some people, and cooling the skin in that area can reduce immediate irritation. (This does not improve/reduce the effectiveness of the treatment). This cooling effect is achieved by the Peltier junction semiconductor and a material in the head of the IPL device that conducts heat well (often sapphire or aluminum), which transfers the cold generated by the semiconductor to the skin. (Heat sinks and fans inside the IPL device dissipate heat that is also generated by the Peltier connection.) Cooling of the epidermis is not required for effective use, but may make the device less uncomfortable for some users. In addition to the standard larger IPL light window, two additional focus windows are also included in this kit. They stick magnetically to the end of the IPL gun. Using one of these will focus the flash of light on a smaller area. This can be useful in areas (armpits, bikini line, lips) where you need a smaller beam of light. These focus attachments are quite uncommon in these kits. This IPL unit is significantly more expensive than some of Revain's cheapest IPL units, but adds an "ICE" cooling feature, additional focus filters, and a more comfortable pistol shape. that's what I prefer for these IPL devices. It also feels better than some of them.
