Ours just arrived and we ordered XL in size 6/7. I use this for my tall 4.5 year old who is 5 to 6 years old. He's a solid guy, he never was. Sometimes you could call it miniature, like a husky, but not really. In any case, he started to thin and stretch. But he's not fat. To give you an idea of the body type. And it's slightly too small around the waist. Sure, it's soft, but it feels almost like polyester and has a little bit of stretch. But that's not enough. I was going to buy him thermals or pajamas for when we go to Mts for the weekend. The material stretches a little. But it would be like putting skinny jeans or tight leggings on him, whatever fits. And they don't even open wide enough at the waist to put them on. Haven't even tried the top yet because what is the point I have to return it. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this purchase.
