Leather (Alligator) looks a bit artificial as it has a matte finish. Real alligator skin tends to be shinier. Also, the clasp is a bit chunky and digs into your hand a little and leaves marks or can scratch your skin depending on how tight or loose you wear the watch. Still, it's great for the price and the clasp is secure even if you swing your arms around pretty hard.
