Went camping on a rainy cloudy weekend. This tent did not disappoint! I'm new to camp. I once set up a tent in my living room and was then able to set it up myself on a camping trip. Installing U wasn't easy. Unfold the corners of the tent, then pull the center. Phew, the tent is set up as if by magic. Everyone else had to contend with giant rain flies. Mine was small and easily attached. Since it was rainy and windy and not in my living room, I attached all the pegs and tied the ropes. Also very easy to attach. The small portico in front and behind is fantastic! We were able to kick off our muddy shoes outside of our tent without getting any wetter. We could also store these dirty shoes outside and they were still weatherproof. Another feature I wasn't expecting but was pretty cool was that the tent straps were reflective! You'd think that would be standard, but of the 14 or so tents in our group, mine was the only one with ropes, which stood out clearly in the light from my flash when I came back from the campfire. This little extra was fantastic for preventing a bad trip when approaching my tent in the dark! Big tent for two. I shared this with my 6 year old child. He could stand up easily. We also had a double-width sleeping mat and a sleeping bag. There was plenty of room for that and for our hiking backpacks. We were aligned horizontally across the tent. They could probably accommodate one more adult in addition to the two of us, but more than that would be impractical. Two adults and their gear fit in easily. Next day pickup was just as easy. I took off my raincoat and stakes but left the ropes in place until next time. I pressed the spot indicated and everything collapsed as if by magic. Then instead of packing it in a tent bag I just used a big garbage bag because I could (the car was nearby) and since everything was wet from the rain I wanted to dry everything before packing. When dry, it was easy to fold back and put in a pocket. Considering the size I found it light and was very impressed with the ease of use. Despite the cold, wet and rain (40s and 50s) it was warm and dry in the tent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a durable tent that is comfortable and easy to use!
