This is a very well designed unit with very good quality parts. It also comes with a nice accessory kit to fully secure the cable. The only problem with this device is that most new laptops don't have a threaded VGA cable connector or use HDMI/DisplayPort; Therefore, you cannot protect this device from these laptops. I use it to secure my Dell E Series Dock to my desk and use another portable laptop cable lock. This allows me to undock without playing with blocking devices. You can also block VGA projectors with screw terminals. Considering the recent price drop, this is a steal. If you have the right device, this is highly recommended.
