These small modules have a nice glass finish that will likely last a lot longer than other manufacturers' epoxy embedded modules. The picture shows 11 cells in series, that's 5.5V. My modules only came with 10 cells in series, so only 5V. This may not be a problem for most applications, but if you plan on using 3 in series to charge the lead 12V acid batteries, it probably won't work with 10 cell batteries. Update: I placed another order, free blocking diodes came as a gift. It would be nice if they were Schottky diodes, but they were simple Si diodes with a 600mV voltage drop. Either way, a glass-topped product is simply durable. Pleases!
