This tablecloth works as advertised. When I first used it, we poured some water on it to test its waterproof properties, and the water immediately dripped onto the fabric without being absorbed. We've since shared a number of items (including red wine) with no stains. It is easy to machine wash/dry and looks great on the table. Highly recommended.
