The battery is what you need! I've owned a few cordless and nickel cadmium cordless trimmers over the years. Wired ones have always been heavy, noisy, and get very hot. The wireless ones I had were weak, and the charge dropped very quickly, as did the power level. And in all directions they would all get stuck and clogged. This not only costs money, but also works very well and has an attractive design. I didn't experience any cuts, pain or pulling like the other reviewer. I have very thick hair and it didn't tangle at all. Will be pulled through. Best of all, cleaning is done instantly. When the head was removed there was almost no hair in it. And the engine is sealed. Wonderful. If it's stolen I'll buy it back or find out who stole it and shave his eyebrows off. BENEFITS: Space saving, lightweight, ergonomic and easy to hold/maneuver, cordless, velvety smooth finish, lithium ion battery, can stand upright, low noise, great performance, comes with charging station, very easy to clean, won't clog, through thick hair comb, simple operation, well designed. Price! CONS: limited number of clip sizes, non-adjustable blade spacing, 1 speed (but effective), impossible to determine remaining battery percentage. There is no power adapter included in the box, just the base and cable.
