I don't usually write reviews, especially negative ones. But I wanted to share it so others can make an informed decision before purchasing this particular scent. I love TidePods. I buy and use them all the time. I've never had any issues with the smell or use. Did I have one that may not have resolved 100%? Yes, once or twice but I just tossed this garment in the next wash and it was fine. Definitely not worth mentioning. I bought Clean Breeze a few weeks ago because there were so many good reviews and I've never had a problem with Tide Pods. I received it and opened it to smell. I was completely taken by the chemical smell. However, I bought it, so when in doubt I agreed to this fragrance. I figured that maybe the pod would mix with water once and smell a little better after washing. I heard my washing machine finish its cycle so I went in the dryer. My laundry room smelled like chemical hair product. So I wanted to exaggerate in the description of the smell. My son stopped by and asked what I cleaned and used and said it smelled strong and bad. I had to wash my clothes again and it took 2-3 more washes with different Tide Pod flavors to get that chemical smell out of my washing machine. So fast forward a few weeks to today (02/01/2020). A bottle of Clean Scent sits on the shelf in my laundry room and I decided to give it another try. I really wanted this scent to work. I washed a shirt. There was still a chemical smell in the capsule. I started washing and came back when I heard the washing machine had finished its cycle. Yes, that chemical smell was present. My shirt smells like a perm. So I'm rewriting now. Sorry for this long review but I wanted to share my experience with this fragrance hoping it might help others.
