Review on Black Diamond Climbing Gloves Large Men's Accessories by Josh Lockhart

This may be a great product, but it is not designed for Half Dome climbs that require 400 feet of roping at over 8000 feet . I used it on 9/23/18 and my grip slipped off the cables. I decided to write this review because the great reviews and previous reviews convinced me to buy these gloves stating buyers had used them to climb Half Dome and had no problems. Unfortunately my experience was not like that. It was a terrifying moment when I realized I wasn't holding the cables hanging down from 8400 feet. I was lucky enough to have an extra pair of old gloves with me and had to change them during this climb. These gloves are definitely not for Half Dome, I'd happily return them for compensation but I have to leave them there in the granite boulders.
