The lamp is a little smaller than I would have expected from a table lamp but the size is perfect for placing on a bedside table. The touch control is a pretty cool feature and saves a lot of time fumbling with the switch like with other lights. It's a double-edged sword, though, as it's also annoying for the lamp control to trigger if you're holding it while plugging and unplugging devices. (The whole metal case works like a switch). So it works best in a "set and forget" case where you leave things plugged into it all the time. Also, the brightness tends to fluctuate slightly every minute when set to its lowest setting. But in general, this is a fairly modern lamp that has many functions and illuminates the room well.
