Review on Wireless Doorbell For Homes, Apartments, Businesses, And Classrooms - Easy-To-Use With 2 Door Ringers & 1 Plug-In Chime Receiver - Battery Operated And LED Flash - SadoTech (White) by Brandon Boones

Easy to install, lots of ringtones; weatherability is questionable.

Set-up and installation was easy, including pairing the transmitters to the chosen ringtones. (My wife was tickled at the wide variety of chime tones and music, including holiday tunes, though some are too lengthy to make for practical doorbell chimes.) No external power cord means you'll need a free, unused AC outlet for placement of the "chime," but the volume settings are broad enough that you likely have some flexibility in placing it in the house. I would prefer the transmitter buttons to be "lit" all the time (not just when the button is pressed), but I understand that this would drain the battery quickly, so I accept that limitation. My concern is the weatherability of the transmitters - the instructions say to mount them in a "protected" location. When I opened the transmitter case, I see no obvious gasket or seal, and nothing that would really prevent water from reaching the battery and electronics and causing damage. The "button" for the front door is protected well enough, but the button for the north door would be fully exposed to the weather. Rather than risk damage from the elements, I built a cover box from acrylic sheets and brass hardware. I'm considering doing the same for the front door, just in case.In the long run, we'll see how this holds up, but we're happy so far.
