We got these shoes two months ago and have tried them on every now and then to get them fixed or to find someone to fix an issue that was occurring the second day we got them. Remember that the owner is three years old. an old child who was overly wild or abusive of shoes, but the cheap plastic rope around the edges, tied in front, broke during a normal dance. We gave up. More than I try to thread something through a space or tunnel-like area around the entire shoe, but there seems to be a lag at the back. There may be two threads sewn into the notch at the back. The amount of work (lubricating the elbows) for the repair is a hundred times higher than the price of a very nice shoe. Also, they're great, but we can't use them.
