Although easy to use and easy to clean I would give it 3 stars overall. I had a Hamilton Beach coffee maker/K cup brewer. When it broke I decided I would break and buy a Keurig. I chose this because I still love to cook pot on weekends. So, the pros: - Brews both a K-cup and coffee pot - Large tank for K-cup usage - Quickly brews a coffee pot. Cons - the tank empties quickly when the coffee pot is brewed - it doesn't heat up. enough. - no timer to program to start brewing coffee. - the smallest pot I can make is 8 cups. - brews fast so I have to use more ground coffee to get strong coffee. Bottom line, I'd happily buy another Hamilton Beach.
