Review on πŸ§” Hypoallergenic and Fragrance-Free CW Beggs and Sons Face Scrub for Men - Gentle Exfoliation, 4.2 fl oz by Tony Fuchs

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It burned my face and irritated my eyes due to the strong menthol content.

Unfortunately, this peeling did not fit me. It has menthol in it and I'm a little allergic to it. I didn't expect it to have such a strong dose of menthol. My face was red from the burn and my eyes seemed to sting as if someone had dipped my face in mint. It was so strong. It's a shame as I received it as they claimed it was hypoallergenic/oil free/paraben free/gluten free/alcohol free/fragrance free then why put so much menthol in it? I like menthol in chewing gum, not on my face or shampoo, but certainly not on sensitive facial skin. a mild cream based on petroleum jelly to relieve burning. It took several hours for my skin to return to normal. If menthol doesn't bother you then it removes dead cells, I just couldn't get away from the burning sensation. It didn't remove my makeup either, I had to use a Neutrogena wipe to remove the eyeshadow and foundation from my face. I recommend using this scrub on a clean face after removing makeup. I do not recommend this scrub if you are looking for a gentler effect.
