Last summer I bought a pair of TOMS Alpargata espadrille shoes and I really liked them. I've never tried toms and bought them at Ross for 19.99 so why not? They were so comfortable I could literally walk a few miles in them without socks and my feet felt great. I have a 1 year old and am pregnant again so I am looking for the perfect pair of mother shoes to wear all year round and thought this is it! Unfortunately they have a very squeaky sole and are not as comfortable as the Alpargata. The ankle is very stiff and seems to rub. The outsole is also less cushioned. I can't believe I spent almost $50 on a pair I like far less than the ones I currently have. To make matters worse, ShoeMall charges $7 for return shipping! I am very disappointed!
