This lotion is highly moisturizing and treats dry, cracked skin. After visiting a dermatologist for severe skin dryness, eczema and rosacea, the doctor recommended this lotion and the cleansing lotion from the same brand. Although I prefer a scented lotion, the excellent moisturizing and skin healing benefits of using this lotion outweigh the scented lotion. It's thick on first application, but rubbing it in gently and patting it lightly with a towel or tissue paper will avoid the greasy feeling on your skin that can cause pet hair to stick to your skin or your hands to slip on doorknobs. Rosacea redness is reduced but not cured. However, the redness and chapped appearance of the hands have completely disappeared with daily use of this lotion. Recommended for dry and sensitive skin.
