🏎️ Optimized ZipBin Storage Cube for Hot Wheels Review

This is an expert review by Granpa; This box isn't incredibly strong, but it works. Indeed space for over 300 cars (see photo). So for nice storage, this is great. The lid (which lies just behind the edge) is removable and helps to clean the car. The zip box opens in multiple ways (either for easy access or fully revealing the playing surface). Overall I would definitely recommend this storage box.

This was a New Year's gift for my newly adopted grandson. I'm told he kept his hot bikes in a cloth grocery bag. He beamed as he opened it. He was expected to get something that had separate slots for each machine. This little boy is 7 years old; Switching from a grocery bag to this is the perfect first step. I bet he would never store cars in a slotted box; maybe when he gets older.

The first thing we received was broken. The zipper opened immediately. The seams at the end were done wrong. I really like this item but am afraid of how long it will last a 4 year old. It holds a lot of cars but I'm afraid to put as much as possible for fear it might break. I hope we last at least a year. Just take a look. It goes well with his Hot Wheels space.

Super disappointed with this car. It lost its boxy shape in a matter of weeks, and we're well short of the 300 cars it's rumored to fit in. The lid no longer fits as all the corners are flat. I'm not sure how it happened because no one is sitting and stepping on it. It's thin now and shaped like a chunky circle instead of a square. I would really like to find a car cover that does the job!

From day one my 6 year old grandson played with it the zipper on one side didn't work. It rises and falls but never zips up. He only leaves it about halfway when he wants it to "close". He still keeps cars. Then he zips it up to his most open end to ride on the road. I know he never stuffed it with cars. He doesn't have many cars in our house.

I have no idea how many cars it can hold (much can I tell) but it's basically just fabric-covered cardboard and not really hard. The sides buckled when we filled the container halfway, making it impossible to hold the lid. My son loves that he can transport SOME cars in it and then unpack it to use as a race track.

So overall I can't say anything bad, it does what it promises. We've had him for over a year now and he survived the punishment of a 4 year old perfectly. It holds many vehicles and is easy to transport, although it can become very heavy when full. I will say I underestimated the value of the caterpillar inside, when it opens up, the kid loves it and plays on it for hours so it's versatile in that way. The price is a bit high, but not that bad, I will even buy another one.
