Our cat loves this scratching post

We wedged it under the edge of the sofa, near where our cat used to put her claws on the sofa to stretch. Now he uses the carpet and leaves the couch alone. Good thing we didn't have to put a protective cover on the sofa. The pad lasts quite long and does not irritate the eyes.
