These shoes were bought for my six year old son. Immediately after putting them on, he began to figure out what was going on. Inside is a piece of fabric that fits the top of his foot. Do you know when to put on your sneakers before you stick your tongue out? Uncomfortable feeling of tension? That's what he was describing because of that extra piece of fabric. It didn't look like a bug, more like a shoe cut. For children with sensory problems, or maybe for all children. This could be a problem. it didn't work for us.
