I use reversible carabiners on the farm for many many things. A few years ago I ordered them, just looked through the items I bought and ordered again, but the ones that came this time are definitely not the same. They're smaller, lighter, not as strong as they used to be, and are still used in places where everything from water buckets to temporary fence panels and gates is in place. Initially, none of these new ones even wanted to open and had to be "edited" until I was able to open them with no problems. All internal springs appear to be very weak. Now I only buy from local stores. The price was good and the delivery was fast, but for various uses around the yard I need them - they are too light and problematic.
