This is great for me as I don't have a USB-C port on my computer and it works very well for what I use it for. I see some compression, but I'm pretty sure it's just an Oculus Link limitation. The cable is on the thicker side and a bit stiff, but you can get used to that. This cable also doesn't use fiber, but still has a good 2.1 Gbps throughput (results may vary depending on whether your motherboard prioritizes USB-C or USB 3.0).
