Unreliable at first, but somehow works great now!

Yes, it works for Oculus Quest 2. I initially had trouble with the cable detaching from the middle of the Oculus connection and it was incredibly annoying to have to unplug and plug the cable back in just for it to come off could a signal. I stopped using the Oculus Link until I received an update for the new Oculus drivers last week. Boom, cable and VR worked great. The cables are a bit heavy, but you won't mind if you're seated. In general, it was dodgy at first, but it got better!

Medium length, medium weight.

The 3m (10ft) cable certainly gives you some independence, it's not as heavy as some other cables (including the 16ft cable I bought). You're still reminded that you're tethered, but 3m is a bit short for room-scale use and only a minor inconvenience when seated. I used it to connect my Quest 2 directly to the USB-A 3.0 port on my monitor, which has a USB 3.0 hub. Testing on the Oculus desktop app (Win 10) ranged from 1.5 Gbps to 2.2 Gbps. While I'm not sure where this variability is coming…

Great value for money.

I bought this on Prime Day and I think I spent $13 on it. The cable is great for this price or regular price. I didn't really want to spend $80 on an official cable just yet. The only thing I would change about this cable is that I would make it a braided cable instead of a latex coated one. But yes, it does its job. Also regarding the many reviews claiming that it doesn't charge your headset. It will IF you have the correct USB connector type. If you're unlucky like me, you don't have a…

Great competitor for patch cords

This is great for me as I don't have a USB-C port on my computer and it works very well for what I use it for. I see some compression, but I'm pretty sure it's just an Oculus Link limitation. The 10ft length suits me as I don't have that big of a space to walk around. I understand that this length may not be enough for some people with large play areas or rooms, but this company also offers longer versions of this cable. The cable is thicker and a bit stiff, but you get used to it. This cable…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
