Functional and cheap
This product is functional and cheap but I'm still looking for something better. Horizontal pins with friction enter the sides. I had no problem with it falling apart, but you can take it apart with one hand. Both the black (pictured) and clear have light scratches from shipping. No damage or imperfections but unlike glossy acrylic it looks a bit matte instead of bright and clean. It will work much better for a display than a working pen holder because it weighs so little. I was just looking for something to hold my fountain pens sideways so they're always ready to write without ink dripping. This does the work for now.
