I ordered 2 sensor lamps. The craftsmanship (appearance) of the lamp was exactly what I wanted and the build quality of the lamps appeared to be good. The height was good for a bedside table. The problem was turning on the lamp. It was a very cold winter day when my lamps arrived. After unpacking, I let the bulbs warm to room temperature before using them (because they felt cold to the touch after a few days in the Revain truck). After a few hours I hooked up the bulbs with new bulbs and was ready to be amazed. I was not! In order to turn on the lamps, I had to hit each of them hard. Sometimes a few good slaps before turning on or changing power supplies. After trying the lamps on different outlets and finding it didn't work for anything; I came to the conclusion that the touch sensitivity is not very user friendly. Since these were going to be bedroom lamps, I wanted to be able to reach out and touch lightly to activate the dim light. Lighting up those lamps was more like playing against the mole. I quickly returned the lamps through Kohl's Revain Returns and went to Lowes for a less expensive and practical lamp.
