They are nice and comfortable but not too tight for my size 9 1/2 feet. They can be a bit big for someone with small feet. I especially like the tongue design on the heel. The tongue is a separate piece of material that wraps around the ankle strap instead of just coming out of the ankle strap. It rises higher than many similar socks. I can't say these are my favorite socks or the best socks or anything but as long as they hold up well they are comfortable and I can walk long distances in them without blisters. I also like the neutral color scheme.
