They are slightly smaller but very short in length. I ordered a small for my 6 year old daughter, her normal size. The size of the little pants is usually the perfect length for her or a little too long. They were too short. They were also a bit tight so I would recommend going up a size. If your child has long/normal legs, they will likely be too short.
