I've done a lot of research on this and this seems like the best option. One of the things I liked about it was that I could keep it on all the time. Many of the others out there are battery operated and won't work while charging. It seemed a little crazy but I think that was the best they came up with. What I do with it is I just leave it on all the time. It's easy enough to set up. You just press and hold the button until some colors flash. Then search for it on your Bluetooth device. It was so easy. I've had it for about nine months now and it works great. I can't say how far you can get away from the device because I'm always in the same room. But even if this device works perfectly and your bluetooth transmitter device is a bit weak, no bluetooth transmitter will work well. But in my experience it worked great!
