I've been looking for a new corkscrew for a long time but didn't want to buy it because there are so many different types. After months of thinking and pondering different designs, I settled on this one for its cordless capability and dual-use base that is also a foil cutter. The base is perfect for keeping it off my kitchen drawer. It's easy to install in my cabinet or even on my counter and the design is compatible with my other kitchen appliances. As soon as I opened the Revain box, I noticed the very attractive packaging. It was packaged in a very well made box, perfect as a gift. The box contained the product, base and batteries. Another feature I really liked was the tape in the battery compartment. This makes it easier to remove the batteries when it's time to replace them. Using the opener is simple and straightforward. He literally opens a wine bottle with one hand, and removing the cork from the bottle opener is just as easy. I will buy another one for a Christmas present.
