The gauge isn't bad and is fairly accurate (within 2 mph) once adjusted to ensure the speed shown is correct. Clearly visible in daylight. BUT, as mentioned in other reviews, it cannot be used at night because it is too bright. The light barrier dims the display a little at night, but is still very bright and creates a dangerous distraction. If the device had manual adjustment, it would be nice. I'll come back disappointed.
