works best in CB and radio sets
can be a bit iffy with UHF. When transmitting on 455 it showed 800, 600 or 900. Turned it off and back on and it showed 455. Very accurate on VHF. When I send to 146500 it shows either 146500 or 146501. sound in place. The battery life is very good.
