Review on Optimized for SEO: Maxpedition Falcon II Backpack in Wolf Gray by Sherman Lancaster

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Don't be shocked by the very small size on arrival

I opened the box and was dismayed at how small the packaging was. It looked like a kid's backpack! But once I've expanded it, it holds a good amount. As an ER doctor, I use this as a disaster relief pack. I found I could fill whatever I needed to resuscitate a patient in the field. I would be surprised if it fit a medium sized man. I'm 5/4 inch tall and about 140 pounds and I feel like my waist is almost short. On the other hand, I am used to larger backpacks for hiking. I have never used Maxpedition but am very impressed with the quality and design. The details are similar to my more expensive packs and backcountry gear. I think they will last a long time. My only comment: I wish the waist strap had some padding (although not critical as this backpack won't be very heavy) and a little more room to adjust the shoulder straps. For women the chest strap can be removed and replaced depending on size, bust [ although it's not that easy].

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
