First impressions of this product were great. It assembles easily, stays on the window with no issues and the blanket that came with it was a nice touch. I have a slightly larger than average cat and also a smaller cat, no problem if both are attached to it at the same time. The first problem I noticed after about 6 months was that the snap hooks on the top suction cups started to open. alone, eventually the carabiners were left in the wide open position. Meh, that doesn't mean they magically detach, so who cares? Also, it held up well to the window and is relatively easy to clean, the duvet just comes off when you want to wash it quickly. Last week, 11 months after purchase, the hammock material completely separated from the PVC on the long side closest to the window. I was in the room and my big cat was in the hammock when it happened. The ceiling was held down with strings so my cat didn't fall through the hatch onto the floor but instead came out, which was actually pretty funny. What's not fun is paying $30 for a fairly basic window quarters and it falls apart before it's a year old. Very disappointed.
