I don't mind paying a little more for things made in the USA, but I expect high quality. In this case I was disappointed. When I put the boots on they felt good. As I went to lace them up, I found that the left boot had five eyelets and three hooks on the outer flap and four eyelets and four hooks on the inner flap. The boots are wearable, otherwise everything is fine. You are cozy. I don't want to return them, plus I need a steel toe cap for work. I chose to put them on despite the apparent failure to avoid long turnaround times. I give them a low rating because the factory worker screwed it up and the quality control team overlooked it. Made in the USA used to be synonymous with high quality. Don't take it for granted anymore.
