Review on Wacom MobileStudioPro Graphics Computer Animation by Stacey Jones

Doesn't match the price tag at all.

Let me start by saying that I have been a Wacom/Cintiq user for many years and have always been a regular PC user. I am also a professional digital artist. I know this world and I understand this market. Don't buy this. Go on. Buy something else, like an iPad Pro or something. I have a 9 year old desktop Cintiq and I love it, it has never given me any problems. Before that I had a Wacom and had no problems. I was hoping to continue this success story with the MobileStudio Pro, which I bought a few years ago because I had a lot of painting jobs. The good news is that the character sensitivity is fantastic, even better than my old Cintiq. The bad news is that it is often buggy or very slow for no reason. Worst of all, the computer is very buggy overall. Fingerprint login became inactive after the first 6 months - well, I can deal with that anyway. The camera is terrible, and the audio is incredibly tinny (both in and out, and even in headphones. Why?) - but anyway, I thought, let the machine do its job well and I'll be happy. Operating system, it's not good, period. It's annoying. I have the most powerful version of this computer because I've always had powerful computers. But while the specs sound amazing, the processing power has never impressed me. There are crazy lags when using Chrome or Firefox, as well as weird sensitivity issues that make me unable to close a tab unless I click on it 10 times. You can toggle taps with one button, but that button only works 1/3 of the time. The battery life is terrible. 3.5 hours when using it in low brightness but ONLY when processing text only. Painting in Photoshop gives me a maximum of 1.5 hours (I took it on a few cross-country flights and was *constantly* disgusted at how quickly the battery drained, especially after going to all the trouble to grab it) . And one more thing: This computer is a damn rock, very heavy. And it gets really hot so forget about pulling on your knees or anything. I don't like giving bad reviews for no reason, I'm not like that but I'm annoyed with this computer and will be getting my hands on an iPad Pro very soon. . and I can't wait to get rid of it (Note: I wrote this review on MobileStudio Pro and there was such a hilarious series of computer crashes trying to access this site that I *swear* my computer knew what I did and tried to stop myself.)
