MSP 13 2nd Gen RAM is NOT upgradeable

The second generation of MSP is great, the screen is noticeably brighter and faster. I had a 1st gen MSP 16 and it was too big to be practically portable (personal preference) so I went with the 2nd gen MSP 13. Wacom advertises that both SSD and RAM are user-upgradable, but the MSP 13 only has one RAM slot, while the MSP 16 has two (one empty). All the ads you will see don't mention that 13 only has one seat. The only place you'll find it is in the specs on the Wacom website.

Pros
  • Our most powerful compact device with more computing power, faster data processing and faster data transfer with Intel i7-8559U processor, 16 GB system memory, 512 GB SSD and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity
Cons
  • Gotcha

I love my wacom Intuos, I HATE this tablet

the Wacom website so take it as you please want. In the last two years I've spent more time fixing this stupid tablet than using it at all. Drivers keep crashing or everything freezes. I'm just over it. And it's sad because I liked my Intuos so I even bought this tablet. Not necessary. Don't buy this. Despite the many settings, this tablet is very frustrating to work with, even if it randomly triggers other things on the screen. Another review mentioned that the nib will become worn and…

Pros
  • Enjoy fast processing and performance in 2D illustration and photo editing with graphics options including Intel Iris Plus graphics card
Cons

Nothing But Regrets

I bought this from B&H almost 3 years ago and now it's on my deathbed. The tablet has been turning itself off for a year. But I'm stubborn and kept using it anyway. If it doesn't turn off, the device gets very hot and its fan blows at full speed all the time. The left side of the screen sticks out, I think the battery is running low. This has gone from being a frustration to a security risk. I got this because it claims to be portable, but that's hardly the case. Don't buy this! I still love…

Pros
  • Extreme precision with Wacom Pro Pen 2 and 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity. Instantaneous tilt response and tracking - the drawing tablet includes customizable ExpressKeys and a multi-touch surface
Cons
  • This worries me

Tablet not worth the money, tablet lasts 2 years or less

This tablet is not worth it! You will regret this, I am so sorry that I have to come here to write this. I bought mine through Best Buy but it's still the same Wacom tablet! It claims to be portable, no, that's not because it's heavy and has almost no ports. I didn't have a stand so I had to buy one separately. I also had to buy an adapter so I can connect more USB than buying a keyboard and mouse just add to the purchase. I replaced mine because the first had touchscreen issues, most likely…

Doesn't match the price tag at all.

Let me start by saying that I have been a Wacom/Cintiq user for many years and have always been a regular PC user. I am also a professional digital artist. I know this world and I understand this market. Don't buy this. Go on. Buy something else, like an iPad Pro or something. I have a 9 year old desktop Cintiq and I love it, it has never given me any problems. Before that I had a Wacom and had no problems. I was hoping to continue this success story with the MobileStudio Pro, which I bought a…

Let's create consolation for artists!

I assume I've been using Wacom products since the early 2000's and have experience with various products. Mobile Studio Pro is great for people who want to take a break from their desktop and sit on the couch or wherever :) I'm a professional artist in the art industry and being able to sit comfortably on the couch without sacrificing art is great Plus. I mainly use Photoshop and am able to work full time without delay. It has a small side fan that allows it to work properly. It also weighs…
