First of all, this casserole dish is just great and feels good. I've read the comments on the lid and for it to work you need to secure the corners first and then engage the locking mechanism on the sides, if it's not secured to the 4 corners it won't stay. Anyway, since he first cooked the dream, I didn't add any cooking oil or spray when I first cooked the lasagna, I just put the sauce on the bottom, cooked it according to the instructions, the sauce separated fine, nothing plugged. My only complaint is the chemical smell that filled the kitchen as it was being baked at just 350 degrees, nothing overpowering. I hope this was once, I will update if not. I obviously washed it first before using it, so that's not the case. One star deducted for the smell.
