This could be one of the best things I've ordered this year! I fly a lot and often I need flights early in the morning or on an airplane that I want to sleep on but can't because the airplane seats are so uncomfortable. It may look a little odd when in use, but I can't believe I've flown without it for so long! It inflates in just a few seconds by blowing into a double-ended nozzle. You use most of the nozzle to inflate it to 90% and then close it. A small portion of the nozzle has a shutter that prevents air from escaping, and the remaining 10% makes it difficult. It is plastic coated with soft flocked velvet material. Basically you have two face holes, one at each end. a big hole and a smaller one. There are large openings on the sides to slip your arms through, making it easier to sit, although you can also wrap your arms and hug your sides. I'm 6ft 3 inches tall and this is perfect for me when I'm sitting. We all had those awkward elbows on the fold out tray trying to prop our heads up with our fists. or rest your forehead on the seat in front of you and hope the person in that seat doesn't move the seat too much. So your position isn't ideal for sleeping, but it makes it a lot more comfortable and allows you to sleep sitting up. It also hides your face so you don't have to worry about other people seeing your sleeping face. You put your face in the hole and it's like a cozy little private cocoon. You can even put your phone in and fall asleep while watching a movie in a pillow that no one else can see. The only thing I can say is that it has a strong plastic smell. I aired it for 24 hours and it's still there. I hope this passes because I can imagine inhaling that plastic smell during a 6 hour flight can't be healthy. . I bought it mainly for the item so it's just a bonus. Overall I'm very impressed with it. I'm shocked how well this works! Not sure if smaller people will have trouble using it as I'm tall and it's perfect for the position. This is one of the best orders I've ever made. I've never seen anyone use it, but I can't believe more people don't. It might look a bit awkward, but it works a lot better than one of those U-shaped neck pillows. Buy one. you will not regret it.
