My three year old son has never had a haircut. He started complaining about the non-metallic hair ties, which still have a small connecting seam, saying they pulled on his hair. Sometimes I wrap them too tight and he asks me to loosen his hair, but generally they are softer and hold his hair pretty well, wrapping it about 3-4 times. My boy may have long hair but that doesn't mean he wants colorful scrunchies - so glad we found them in brown that go well with his hair! We've only used one from the pack so far so I think they'll last us for a while.
