My feedback on this product is mixed so I will split my review into pros and cons and then summarize: Pros: 1. Fun to install. I, for one, love to tinker, and I definitely enjoy tinkering with video game controllers. There were some very good installation videos on YouTube which were very helpful.2. Replacement parts for trigger buttons and stoppers were provided which was very nice.3. The position of the buttons suited me perfectly.4. The keys' feel is good, but not perfect. However, more good than bad.5. As announced, the trigger is no longer executed6. The controller grips work well and improve grip. Cons: 1. The buttons aren't ideal for me in a game like Gears of War, which is why I bought it. I have an Elite controller and I want to map the "A" button to a button below the controller so I don't have to take my right thumb off the right stick to run, hide, and shoot. It's hard to describe, but with the new buttons, you won't be able to use the button as you normally would. The biggest problem is that you can't reload while running. If you press the reset button while running, your run will be canceled immediately and your movement will be severely affected. This could be a pure Gears issue due to their unique application of the run/hide action, but it makes a huge difference to me because that's why I bought this Mod.2. The buttons are a little hard to press. If they were a little easier to press that would be nice but wouldn't bother.3. Remapping the keys is too complicated.4. Button mapping is done by placing your finger under the battery compartment and holding it there for 5 seconds. Pretty decent in theory. My problem is that my middle finger on my left hand tends to stop in that area and accidentally puts the controller in override mode and prevents me from using the buttons in the middle of a Gears multiplayer game. In summary, they did a lot right here. I would definitely buy an updated version of this mod if it would solve my problems. But right now I can't use it for gears but will definitely use it for other games that don't rely so much on using the buttons I need to map under the controller.
