Easy to work with and well packaged
I bought this to gild a laser engraved logo on oiled rosewood. The only problem I had was masking such a small area and the wood grains were perpendicular to the direction of the etch so it was difficult to keep the pot holder from seeping into the unmasked areas - it of course tended to to follow the ridges of the rosewood. Grain, non-pickled areas. After lightly sanding the leafy areas with a toothpick and about two or three coats of leaf, I've sealed it and am generally happy. I'm at the 6 month mark and it's still as shiny as day one.
