Got a USB hub with a completely different form factor. One that also needs a separate 5VDC power input (socket) to actually use it with moderately power hungry USB devices, but no power adapter was included. I CANNOT use external hard drives with this USB hub. Using other brand Thunderbolt 3 hubs works fine. Also, the manual doesn't list the barrel connector size, which is annoying as I see it's a non-standard larger size for a 5V input. The hub works for things like mice. But Windows Explorer freezes when trying to transfer files to drives connected to this hub. No other hub I have has this problem. I will be returning this for a refund. At least it works well for very low power devices like mice or flash drives.
