I like Garmin training collars. While it's true that they don't have the best range (thanks, Bluetooth) and that it sometimes takes a minute to launch the exercise app, they make up for it with battery life and keep-away tags. My dogs wear this collar quite often during training or when they need a reminder not to eat cat food. The Delta Canine Remote is a great addition that allows you to connect to a collar and send training indicators. without having to run the app on your phone. It takes a second to wake up when you first use it, but I think that's a fair price for the battery life saved in sleep mode. It's a very small remote control, easy to use, and it comes with a nice strap to hang around your neck and keep your hands free - and not lose them.
