I bought these alarms for my windows because I just needed a security alert if someone tried to open my windows from the ground. They are definitely loud enough! Very easy to glue but I had a problem. You must perfectly line up the arrow on the alarm clock with the arrow on the magnet. It didn't work out the first time, even though everything was perfect. and I have already glued the alarm clock and the magnet. So I had to pull the magnet out. (I started with the alarm off). Tip: Stick part of the alarm on the window when the alarm is on. The alarm will sound and you can move the magnet up and down until the alarm stops sounding. Then stick it on once you know they've met and lined up. It doesn't matter, but having arrows in a line doesn't mean it was perfect and hard to pull off.
